Mandi from Doodles Place sent me this! This would be a great offer to do for our Girls Home Charity! Any Takers? Thanks Mandi for sharing!!

Weekly Reader Deal!

For $24.95 , you'll get 12 books and the accompanying CD for each of the books (the price has gone up, unfortunately, but it's still a great deal!). We LOVE books on tape, and my girls still love these books & CDs even after a year. Shipping is only $3.95. Just use offer code 134424 at checkout!

One important note here. The CDs we received last year are actually a DVD format. This is a cool feature in that it shows the pages turning on the screen so that your child can follow along with the story. However, I know that some people had trouble playing them on certain players last year. If you use a DVD stereo system or a computer, they'll work fine either way, but I'm not sure about CD-only players, and you may want to call before ordering to check the format.

That's 12 books and 12 CDs for $29 including shipping, or less than $1.25 each! Whether you're buying them for your own children or to give as gifts, this is a great deal.

The books include:

Corduroy Lost and Found

Curious George Goes to a Costume Party

Do Your ABC's Little Brown Bear

Henry's Show and Tell

How I Became a Pirate

The Little Engine That Could Goes on a Class Trip

Mirette on the High Wire

Raggedy Ann's Wishing Pebble

Tops & Bottoms

What Grandmas Can't Do

Soccer Showdown

Julius Baby of the World.

We used to get my son (when he was younger) the yearly set of Weekly Reader books each Christmas. We were always so pleased with the collections.
