With these economic times I’m always trying to find my family bargins and trying to help out friends and family with these deals aswell. I would love to help out and learn life lessons in the process, I hope you consitter my thoughts and my friendship.

Hi Andrea,
I raised 2 sets of twins (all boys) and there were days we all cried together. lol Seriously, my one suggestion to you and any new mom is to be very careful (especially when buying from WalMart, Dollar Stores, KMart, etc. they sell mostly items that come from China and are using lead paint on our Children’s toys, don’t forget our animals had poison in everything that was made in China. We Americans really need to stand together and buy American made items. Yes, we will have to pay more but I think our children, grandchildren, pets and ourselves is much more important than saving a buck buying inadequate and non-approved items that are being made in other countries. I’m not picking on just China but all our American companies hae gone over there and are using slave labor which is why these inadequately made items can be sold so cheap here in the US. However, because of it people are losing their homes, their jobs, their vehicles, their health insurance and I think we should all stick together and say enough is enough. These comanies will never come back to the US but if we stop buying their junk they will find out we mean business. Wow, sorry, I didn’t mean to get on a band wagon here. I just feel so badly when I think of our brothers and sisters losing everything they worked their whole lives for and some of us keep buying this junk which is really a slap in the face to our friends, families everyone here in America who have lost everything.
The main thing I wante to say is love your children with all your heart, tell them all the time how good they are and how much you love them. Even if you think they don’t understand your words yet, they understand the tone in your voice. Children are very smart and learn from birth. Just enjoy every moment of every day and not only will you be a happy mommy but you will raise happy intelligent babies.
God Bless you and all new moms across the globe. You have the most precious time and cargo in your hands.

Love your site. Having had the pleasure of meeting Melissa, she is a fantastic resource and advocate for moms. I’m excited that it’s finally cool to be frugal. I’ve been a garage sale shopper and repurposer for years. In fact, my husband and I have managed with one vechicle for over three years in an attempt to save money and lessen our carbon footprint. It certainly is challenging especially since we both have full time careers outside of the home.

I would love to match coupons to a grocery store out of state but I wouldn’t know where to begin. Would you be able to guide me through the process? I live in Richmond, VA and we have Martin’s grocery stores…I have never seen them posted on sites!

Shamed Michael Pain, 53, swindled money from his mother Lady Denys Sophia Pain, the widow of decorated war hero and Royal aide Lieutenant-General Sir Rollo …

lynn cota May 22, 2011 at 1:37

I live in RI and Stop & Shop barely ever doubles coupons. The grocery stores in RI also do not accept the digital coupons. How am I supposed to do extreme couponing with such limitations??

Queen_Mum May 22, 2011 at 14:01

Everytime someone uses the term “extreme couponing” I cringe. First, you can save money no matter where you live. I’ve gotten really good deals at stores which don’t double or take printables. What you saw on TV was fake….no one can do what those people did no matter where you live, so don’t base what you can do on that show. No store will let you do what they did and no store carries that much inventory to even let one person buy that much! Lynn if you will email me your phone number I’ll give you a call…too mush to try and explain here. just email it to patsy@consumerqueen.com.
