Kajeet the best cell phone for kids – BLACK FRIDAY sale!! Have you heard of Kajeet? They are the absolute best cell phone company for kids! They have excellent online parental controls – limit when your kids can use their phones, who they can call, see who they call and text (and when), plus they have GPS service to find their phone (and your kid!). Oh and they have Sprint phone coverage. Anyway, both my girls have them and I wouldn’t think about letting them have anything else. No contracts, no activation fees PLUS special black friday prices and FREE shipping! You normally get 15% off phones through this site, but this weekend you get 15% off the BF sale prices, PLUS FREE shipping. You can get unlimited texting (which is all they use anyway) and 150 minutes for only $19.99. Here’s the link:

I wanted to let everyone know that Wal-Mart refused to take the Chef’s Requested Coupns I printed from the Mfg. site. I politely explained and showed the cashier a copy of the Wal-Mart coupon policy. She still refused. I finally paid the full price and went to the service desk. Icalmly and politly asked for the manager. Anyway to make a long story short after my insistance someone finally went and asked someone else (a higher level mgr?) and guess what, they do accept the coupons. I had to really put up a defence about the coupon being “real” and not a forgery. ANyway they did honor the coupon but I will be very hesitant to shop there anymore, especially with coupons. It was embarassing to be in the right but have to really force the issue with them. They even told me they know about the printable coupons being faked becasue Wal-MArt actually holds coupon classes. They did make it right, but I am finding myself for several reasons shopping less at Wal-Mart, Is anyone else having problems with them just being out of stock on so many things?

I had a great dinner the other night for free. Not just me but two other couples. This company brought the food and cooked for us, they even did the clean up. While they were cooking they taugh us alot about the nutrients in the food and I really learned alot about healthier eating and cooking. Of course they were promoting thier products but thier was no pressure sales just a great meal and a good time. they even asked if they could come do it again!! I am all for free dinners that I dont have to cook!

Hi Kate…..I’m not sure why it’s doing that for some people. Are you using Internet Explorer or Fire Fox? Sometimes if you change the browser ( use Fire Fox instead of IE ) it fixes the problem. Sorry you’re having such a problem! You can easily access the coupon data base by looking on the LEFT side of the blog and clicking on the Ultimate Coupon Data Base box next to the Redplum link a little less than half way down the page. Thanks for contacting us and if you have any other issues just give us an email :)

I am just getting started couponing. I have read and seen quiet a bit of information of stockpiling but unless I misunderstand that, you have to save up quite a few coupons before you can start that. I have three Sunday’s papers worth of coupons saved up so far. But for now, I need to save money on the things we need right now. Can anyone give me some advice on getting started?

Hi, I have a question to throw out to everyone. I can’t seem to put together a free or good deal on syrup. I have all the other condiments covered, including mayo for less than a dollar, yah! However, except for really figuring overage. I can’t seem to get a good deal for my stockpile. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Kelly

Syrup coupons seem to be few and far between. Aunt Jemima puts out $1.00/2 coupons occasionally in our inserts but haven’t seen one in awhile.

Just thought I’d see if anyone else caught the deal on the Indiana popcorn at Walgreens.. I looked but didn’t see anything listed here on your site. The SMALLER bags (10oz I believe) are 2.39 at my Walgreens,.. in the May coupon booklet there is a .75 coupon… with the !.00 coupon that was in the Sunday paper youcan get a bag of kettle corn for .64 before tax!

Hi, I’m brand spanking new to this. Can someone tell me what “ECB” and other such acronyms mean?

Thanks.

Reply

Queen_Mum June 24, 2011 at 2:17 PM

Alex, ECB stands for Extra Care Bucks which are coupon rebates that print out at the register on the bottom of your receipt. You can use it like money on your next transaction at CVS. If you click on “coupons” at the top of the website then click on how to coupon there is a lesson called “learning the lingo”. It has all the couponer’s shorthand listed :)

at WALGREENS this week, Renpur Organics Shampoo and Conditioner is $6.99 BOGO Free. IF you can find a hangtag on them that says “try me free” you can send in for the $6.99 rebate, making them both free (minus the cost of an envelope and stamp)!

Has anyone ever heard that the Perry Homeland is not accepting paper coupons anymore? I thought that all homelands were a corporate company. I’m trying to teach my family how to coupon and this is a huge bump in my road. Any suggestion? I would love to hear.

Thank you

Queen_Mum July 5, 2011 at 9:47 AM

Sheila, that’s weird in my opinion……..I’d call corporate and ask about it! Are they accepting printables?

Reply

Sheila Voise July 5, 2011 at 1:19 PM

Im sorry thats what I meant. They have a sign posted that says we do not accept printables any longer. Im not even real sure where they are going to get coupons in the first place. I mean they drive to Stillwater now to shop at Walmart and some drive here to Edmond to shop at Crest so the main reason I am wanting them to learn to coupon is so they can save money on gas. Also, Homeland is the only grocery store in Perry. What a doozie.

Hi everyone, Can someone explain in simple terms how recyclebank works? On their site, they don’t really explain it and its difficult for me to understand for some reason. Did anyone else have trouble in the beginning with it? I would like to get grocery coupons from it.

Thx mux.
Ps-if anyone has a good recommendation for a coupon clipping site, I’d love to hear it. Thx again.

Once you register you can then take surveys etc. to earn points. You then redeem those points for prizes including coupons. I’ll be posting a more in depth explaination on the blog today.

My husband and I had our first shopping experience using coupons the other day. We bought $121.07 worth of items and after using our Homeland card and our coupons we paid $39.72…a savings of 66%! It wasn’t an “extreme” couponers haul, but we were very pleased! Thanks for all of the tips, information, and coupons! This site is amazing!

Queen_Mum July 11, 2011 at 8:38 PM

Great Job! Keep up the good work……66% is awesome and it’s reality!

GFF Foods in Moore doubles coupons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Unfortunately they don’t accept printed coupons, but there are very good deals to be had with the ones that come in the Sunday paper! Also there is a place called Eley (approximately 31st and North May) and they double coupons up to .50. I’m not sure of their coupon policy or pricing however.
