Win a years worth of Mac & Cheese & Help a Charity!

by Consumer Queen on May 26, 2009

My son Ryan is a huge mac & cheese fan! You can always find a “blue box” in our cabinet because it’s a staple in our home! I do make my own mac & cheese as well but hubby just camn’t make my recipe and neither can the kids so this is the next best thing to homemade! We also love the easymac because my kids can make it themselves! Oh don’t weird out on me but we love to mix peas in our mac & cheese. It’s so yummy!

Well Kraft wants to ask my readers what their favorite Kraft Mac & cheese moment is.As well as give 1 lucky reader the chance to win a Years supply of mac & cheese(50 boxes) they will also donate 50 boxes to “Feeding America” in your honor.

Thats not all! Everyone who visits Share a little Comfort can contribute a box of “The Cheesiest” to Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger relief organization. Every click means that one box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese will help feed the hungry … up to one million boxes! Kraft will also be donating $100,000 in cash to the organization.    In addition to the website, Kraft Foods is offering another way to share a little comfort.  Every “Tweet” on Twitter.com that uses the Share a Little Comfort hash tag (#BlueBox) will count toward the up to one million boxes donation.

A few years ago my grandsons, who were seven and eleven at the time, were at my house one afternoon and both were complaining about being hungry. Nate, the older of the two, went into the kitchen and fixed his younger brother,Aaron, some Kraft Mac & Cheese, then came back into the livingroom, where he sat watching t.v. with me. I was watching Aaron sitting at the diningroom table wolfing down his mac & cheese, and in a few minutes he was finished. "How was that?" I asked, and without missing a beat,he said,"MAN,THAT HIT THE SPOT!" And got up from the table, put his bowl in the sink and went back to playing. I've grwon up on Kraft Mac & Cheese and my grandsons are following a long family tradition. It does "HIT-THE-SPOT"! Thanks.

My favorite Kraft Mac & Cheese moment is when I added ground hamburger to the mac and cheese. The kids loved it! It became a family dinner favorite!

My favorite Kraft Mac and cheese moment is the very first time each of my kids tasted Kraft Mac N cheese. The look of sheer enjoyment is one of my best memories of my kids babyhood.

I boarded with an 83 year old woman for most of my two yeas in college. We (the boarders)shared her kitchen for all cooking and she used to specify times of the day when we were permitted to use the kitchen and very strictly prohibited us from using the kitchen after 7:30 p.m. when she went to bed, or anytime she wasn't home. We put our money together and bought two small electric kettles and used to cook Kraft Mac & Cheese and hot dog in them after hours. When you're starved and it's only 9:00 p.m. and you don't have a car to run and get fast food, then Kraft Mac & Chees is food for the gods - even if it's cooked in an electric tea kettle.
