Who’s ready for the fair? I keep telling myself every year that I am going to go on a diet months before the fair because all I seem to do is eat when I go. I can’t help it, the food is ohhhh soooo good. I love the cheese on a stick,Indian taco’s and turkey legs but Daniel has to have a pork-chop on a bun and a corn on the cob. One my favorite things to do is walk through the Made in Oklahoma building. I love to see what my fellow Oklahomans are doing and supporting local business’. Stop by and give them a big Oklahoma HOWDY! Make sure you check Fair Hours of operation before you head out.
State Fair Coupon Books:
I am very excited to be working with the Oklahoma State Fair this year and I am very excited about their new coupon book. That’s right ,with over 52 coupons over $200 in savings you can enjoy that great fair food and entertainment for less. Click here to see a copy of the coupon book and what coupons will be listed. The coupon book is only $6 and the only way you can get one is through a fundraiser. Don’t worry Princess Karen will be selling them and we will be donating the money to the Spondylitis Association. ADVANCE GATE ADMISSION DEALS
Discount gate admission tickets are ON SALE NOW, at the Arena Box Office, online at okstatefair.com or by calling405.948.6800. Discount Gate Admission Tickets will also be available starting Monday, August 13 at OnCue Convenience Stores, MidFirst Bank Centers (cash only) and Cox Retail Stores (cash only). Admission tickets must be purchased on or before Wednesday, September 12, 2012 to receive the discount.
Opening Day – $2 admission
School Kids’ Day – FREE admission for all kids thru grade 12
Super Saver Tuesday – $3 admission
Tuesday, September 18:
Senior Citizens’ Day – FREE admission for Senior Citizens 55+ I.D. Required.

I would say Indian taco, corndog, cheesecake on a stick, or just about anything.
i really hate to pick just one but I would have to say it is the caramel apples. i know you can get them in the grocery store now but nothing beats one at the fair. Oh and the fresh made lemonade.
I love the ice cream on a stick dipped in chocolate then nuts. Yummy.
I love to get the Chicken on a stick, and Curly Fries! As well as Cotton Candy and Chocolate Covered frozen Cheesecake!! Not to mention the turkey legs and corn dogs. Yum :’)
