Tempur-Pedic Better Nights Sleep Contest

The time has come, the moment you all have been waiting for. The Tempur-Pedic contest is here!   As you all know Daniel has a hard time sleeping at night and that is not good. Sleep is vital to having a healthy lifestyle.  According to the National Sleep Foundation  people in different age groups need different amounts of sleep.  Not enough sleep can  be linked to numerous health problems.  A new study found that obstructive sleep apnea is linked to an increased risk of heart failure and coronary heart disease in middle aged and older men. Doctors have also linked diabetes and depression to not enough sleep as well. Getting a good nights rest also helps with weight loss.  While not getting a good nights sleep is not the direct link to many of the diseases it does have a major affect on them.  Not getting enough sleep can also leave you feeling sluggish and not able to complete tasks during a normal work day. I definitely can tell when I don't get a good nights sleep. I wake up grouchy and I just can't function at all. I work a full time job, take care of two kids, and my husband, not to mention running my own website. I am the type of person that requires at least 8 hrs of sleep or more.  I need it to stay motivated through out my day. Sleep is very important to Daniel because he is in a lot of pain and is taking several medications, one which requires at least 8 hrs of rest, so we were very excited to try out our new mattress.
