NeatReceipts for Mac arrives in a white and orange cardboard box with a picture of the scanner on the front. On the back of the package is an image of the NeatReceipts software along with a listing of features. The Neat Company gets kudos for being green by using 100% recyclable materials in the packaging.
Opening the box reveals the Neat scanner, a mini USB cable, a quick start guide containing the installation CD, set up instructions, calibration paper, dry cleaning paper and alcohol cleaning paper. This also contains PDF converter software for free. $100 value.
What makes NeatReceipts for Mac especially appealing is the compact size and the light weight scanner allowing me to take it on the road, to my office or use it at home. It’s small size that packs a lot of features and helps me organize my office littered with paper.

What a great way to keep track of receipts!
Scanning recipes sounds like a handy thing. I’d like to try it out myself.
It would help me keep up with my receipts so I can stay on budget and to organize my tax forms

This would be awesome. I have a tendency to keep receipts. I keep them in a bin and when I cleaned it out last year I found some from 2009. This would be so much better
I run a small home business and this would save me A LOT of storage space both in my file cabinet and on my computer! Having all of my receipts for both home & business all in one program would be a huge time saver in and of itself.
I keep tons of envelopes labeled with my reciepts shoved inside. This would be so much more efficient!

This would be SOOOO neat! My hubby is constantly leaving every receipt we get just lying around the house everywhere, and I have a purse full of them! I’m never sure the best way to organize them, and their different sizes certainly make them hard to file away. Having them in one file on the computer would be a godsend!
