So I am very excited to tell you about my new Frigidaire refrigerator that Frigidaire sent me as part of the Mom Test Drive Team at Mom Central ! I think "vlogs" do a better job at reviewing a product so check out the video above for my review!

I can't tell you how excited I am to get this! I was able to give our other fridge to my mom. The fridge we gave to my mom had french doors and was great but having the freezer on the bottom wasn't as fun as a thought! I am so glad to have our side by side back. Thanks Frigidaire ! Don’t forget to take the Frigidaire Daily Dare and you could win your own Appliances!

Frigidaire sent me the refrigerator to make my life easier, so I decided to contact the makers of Klondike, Breyers and Popsicle brand to help give you something to freshen up your freezer!

I will be giving a 5 Prize packs that will contain:

Breyers insulated BUILT bag

·         Breyers Smooth & Dreamy Notes notepad

·         Breyers stainless steel ice cream scoop

·         Plastic, single-serving ice cream bowl/spoon set

·         One coupon for free Breyers product

I don’t know if it’s a favorite memory–more like a guilty memory of sneaking off to the Dairy Queen and buying ice cream cones and root beer floats with the money I’d earned at our family’s garage sale. I’d bike down about 2 blocks and get a treat and my family was none the wiser. (especially my younger brothers and sisters) One time I decided to get some “Fresca” — I was sure it was some magically wonderful ice cream delight. UGH! PTOOEY! It was awful. Several years later I found out what it really was–Diet Pop!

I guess my favorite ice cream moment was when I am with my granddaughter Madison she questiones everything in life. Ice cream is the one treat I thought we could get through without all the questions, but no first question how many cows made my ice cream, #2 where are the cows living(because she could not see them) but I guess all those questions are worth it to see the joy in her eyes while she conquers the ice cream cone, even though its ice cream the look on her face takes me back to when her mom, her aunt and I always enjoyed a walk to the park and an ice cream cone from the local Stewarts. I guess its the simple moments like that that we all cherish and I shared that with her mom now I’m sharing it with her, Life is good and I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!”

We had an ice cream maker as a kid. I hated the effort and the time it took to make, but I can still taste the results …

I worked at an ice cream parlor in highschool and it was so much fun getting all the free ice cream I could eat.

My favorite memory is sitting on the porch in the summer evening while my Dad made home-made ice cream in a hand-cranked freezer.

About 2 weeks ago, I made the perfect banana split using 1 scoop vanilla ice cream/orange sherbet mix, 1 scoop mint chocolate chip ice cream, & 1 scoop Rocky Road ice cream with bananas in plastic banana-shaped dishes, topped with Reddi Whip and caramel. Well, almost prefect: I didn’t have any cherries for the top!
