As a Savings.com Deal Pro I was lucky enough to get the new HP TouchPad. I will also have the opportunity to give one away to a lucky ConsumerQueen.com reader.

A little bit about this product:

The HP Touch Pad uses webOS which doesn’t have the largest selection of apps but the ones they do have are pretty powerful like Angry Birds HD.It even has a ripple affect when you tap an app.I have not had a chance to test the Battery Life on this one. It has it’s pros and cons.

Pros:

It Displays Flash, Adobe Flash Player 2.3
HD Apps
Clear Screen
Graphics are Great
Front facing video camera for video chat
Dual Core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm snapdragon processor
6,300 mAh battery
WiFi
Good sound quality
Flipping between tasks seems easy.
Has one of the nicest Facebook Apps I’ve seen.

Cons:

Bulkier than the Ipad
Seems slower, slow to load on some things
When you tap or type you can’t go very fast. If you don’t touch in the exact spot it doesn’t work. (but could be just me)

As you can see there are more positives.My mom does a lot of work on my website and while I still love my iPad, my mom LOVES the HP. So she is the new owner of my HP TouchPad and hasn’t stopped playing with it since(she lives with me). She loves being able to use the Kindle App as well.This will probably replace her laptop that she uses when she travels. Next I will try it out on my favorite HP printer that is WiFi. We can’t wait to see what new apps they come out with.
