How many people watch movies at home?  WOW I see a bunch of hands!  Well our friends at Hollywood Video and Movie Gallerywant to make sure you get the best deal for your family.  They have different plans for different needs.  So be sure and check them out.  And 9 lucky Consumer Queen readers will get a $45 gift cards to help out for movie night!  Here are some details about their plans:

Movie Gallery’s new True $ offering allows customers to select from three newly created monthly movie rental programs.  And unlike other programs, True $’s point of different lies in the fact that participation allows customers to keep the movies for as a long as they’d like while incurring no late fees or additional charges.

Plan Options:
Plan One - Rent one movie at a time – up to 8 movies a month for $7.99 per month
Plan Two - Rent two movies at a time – up to 15 movies a month for $14.99 per month
Plan Three - Rent up to three movies at a time – up to 25 movies per month for $24.99 per month

Why True $?  It comes down to the hidden kiosk truths…
According to a Movie Gallery web survey conducted by Market Decisions Corporation, more than 27 percent of movie rental kiosk customers admit to keeping their movies for more than one day, increasing the $1 per night rental cost in some cases to upwards of $3 or $4.  In addition, 32 percent of kiosk customers are unable to rent the movie they really want to see because it is not available at the kiosk.  With True $, Hollywood Video and Movie Gallery stores allow PowerPlay members to select from more than 7,000 Core Collection titles and pay just $1 per rental.  There are no additional per night costs or due dates, keeping the cost at just $1 whether the movie is returned the next day or the next week.
