As we teach in our classes, no matter what store you shop at, check the meat department for discounted meat.
Stores have to sell meat by a certain date and when it gets close to that date they will start reducing the price for quick sale.
Combining these quick sales with coupns can score you great deals on meat. For example, yesterday I spotted this pack of chicken thighs discounted to $2.20. Using the $1.00/1 Pilgrim’s Pride coupn you could score it for only .20!
You can freeze the chicken and use it at a later date.
