Understanding Extra Care Bucks (ECB) Current CVS Deals
Woo Hoo! CVS finally has a written coupon policy! Lots of things are clarified and a few things still need to be addressed. You can view and print out a copy of the policy here. Please read the cpn policy carefully so that you don’t misunderstand what they are stating.
Here’s a few key things I want to point out:
1.The policy states that the number of manufacturer’s cpns cannot exceed the number of items bought – this is not the same as Walgreens. You will be able to use a store cpn, a manufacturer’s cpn and ECB on 1 item like we always have. This only applies to the manufacturer’s cpns. This to prevent customers from trying to use more than 1 manufacturer’s cpn on a single item.
2. The policy clearly states there will be no overage. I personally don’t have a problem with this…I’m happy to get it free!
3. The policy clearly states that they have the right to limit the number of items you can purchase if there is not sufficient stock to satisfy other customers – This is my personal favorite! Hopefully this will keep the “hoggies” in check.
4. The policy states “CVS has the right to process cpns in any order” I’m hoping this doesn’t mean the $5 off $20 store cpns etc. will now be scanned after all other cpns. I’ll ask my CVS about this one tomorrow.
Areas not addressed:
1. Using 2 cpns with a BOGO free sale ….hopefully this will be addressed in writing soon!
So what do you guys think?????
