If you’re new to CVS and don’t have any ECB from a previous shopping trip to use on the first transaction then the amount you pay will be your “seed money”. “Seed money” is the money you pay out of pocket to get your first Extra Care Bucks (ECB) to use on future purchases.

With this scenario we will be getting $35.42 in product for $10.42+ any applicable sales tax with $5.00 in ECB to use next week. That’s a savings of about 70%!

Last week we ended up with $4.00 in ECB which I will incorporate into this week’s scenario.

We Beauty Club members will have $17.00 in purchases towards our FREE $5.00 ECB!

Remember, you don’t have to do all the transactions in one day or even at the same store.

Use $2.50 Colgate CVS coupon from the Scanner (will be printing for everyone)
Use .50/1 any Colgate Toothpaste 4-oz. or larger SS 2-3 (exp. 2-23)
Use (2) $4.00/1 Dove Men+Care 6-pk Bar Soap RP (#2) 1-27 (exp. 2-24)
Use $2.00/1 Men+Care Body Wash RP (#2) 1-27 (exp. 2-24)
Use $4.00 ECB from last week
Final price: $3.00 + get $5.00 ECB (Dove)

Transaction #2:

Buy 3 Planters Peanuts $3.49 ea.
Buy 5 Coke 2-liters .99 ea.
Subtotal: $15.42
Use (3) $1.00/1 any Planters SS 1-27 (exp. 4-30)
Use $5.00 ECB from transaction #1
Final price: pay $7.42 + get $5.00 ECB to use next week

This week’s scenario is like getting $35.42 in product for $5.42 after ECB!
