Providing instruction on the art of couponing is our ministry.....helping people save money through the wise and honest use of coupons is our goal.  There is never a charge for our classes and all couponing information is free!

Our classes are free, we just ask that you bring 1 canned food item for the OK Food Bank!

Each attendee will take home written class material  and all who attend our open classes will receive coupons and other goodies from our sponsors!

Advanced classes:  before you take an advanced class it's a good idea to have attended a beginner's class first or have a good working knowledge of basic couponing as we will not have time to  explain the basics in the advanced classes :)

Currently we do not allow small children to be brought to the classes.  Since the classes are 2-2 1/2 hours long it's really hard for the kiddos to sit still and be quiet for that long.  Infants are fine (they can be taken outside if they cry), they usually just sleep thru the whole thing  lol!!

Our current class schedule:

We will be providing a sign up link for all our classes from now on....our classes have grown so much that we can't handle the email requests LOL!! After you submit your info it will tell you that you are confirmed. You will not receive an email confirmation. The sign up link will enable us to print out a check in sheet for each class.

Every 2nd Saturday at the Edmond, OK  Wal-mart on Santa Fe & Danforth- - located in the employee lounge at back of store.
June 11th 10:00 am - 12:00 pm - (must sign up to attend)
July 9th 10:00 - 12:00 pm - we will be posting a sign up link soon -( you must sign up through this link to attend - no email sign up)

Buy For Less Grocery (held monthly at different locations)
Next class - TBA

Homeland Grocery  Classes (held monthly at different location)
June Class Location TBA (to be announced)

NOTE:  Homeland has asked us not to release any info on upcoming classes until they have announced it to the public Please do not call Homeland for info! :)

I have always used coupons. I use them to get .50 or 1.00 off. I am not sure how they get stuff for free or so cheap they walk out of the store with 100.00 worth of groceries for 6.00 or whatever. I live in Biloxi Ms and would love to learn and teach this. I am a divorced mom of 3 and in need of learning to save a 1.00.

Sylvia Inman June 7, 2011 at 19:13

I live in Alaska and we don’t necessarily have the same stores as in the lower 48, but we do have Fred Meyers, Carrs/Safeway, Wal-Mart, Target. It would be nice to know how to use the coupon system here. I am a grandmother who is attempting to raise one of my grandchildren and also helping my daughter with her 3 children. It would be nice to learn your techniques on doing couponing. Any pamhlets or information I could receive would be nice. If you could e-mail, or send me something to help, would be greatly appreciated.

Queen_Mum June 7, 2011 at 19:58

Sylvia if you’ll click on “coupons” at the top of our website (consumerqueen.com) and them click on “how to coupon” you can get some info. The first 3 lessons are for beginners.

Vicky Kelley June 11, 2011 at 12:42

Do you ever come to Michigan? Could you please let me know? Thanks

Jena June 30, 2011 at 18:37

I am an Army wife and would love to learn the art of couponing so I can teach it at our Family Readiness Group meetings as well as other groups I am a member of. We are just standing up a new unit in El Paso, TX. It is more expensive here than where our unit is moving from. All our guys, and gals, are just getting back from Afghanistan as well so our families will be going through financial changes due to that. Those two events can be big financial pit falls.

Chef Michael Tucker December 2, 2011 at 14:45

Im here in Richmond, Va. and I would love to learn how to coupon and teach because in the area I live I have alot of single moms, elders, and low income families who used to use the angel food ministries to get food but now they are closed down so i would like to help people save money and to try to build a food pantry that the can use. It would be awesome if you can email me bck and let me know if you can help me. Please and thank you.

Would love to know where I can get coupons besides the web. Live just south of Ardmore Ok. I am told the only paper that supplies inserts is the Oklahoman but it is not available in Marietta. Can you clue me in?

Princess Karen January 16, 2012 at 9:50

You can find tearpads of coupons throughout the stores, you can find peelies on the products or you can contact manufacturers and ask them if they have any coupons available to send you via the mail.

yang February 23, 2012 at 21:42

good collects.

effie February 24, 2012 at 10:12

You may have to drive into ardmore for the paper. my sister lives in lone grove and let me tell ya she will drive to dallas to get a coupon stuck on a billboard…lol…but you may have to make the extra trip living in a small town just to get good coupons. ask your family and friends write a letter to redplum i get them in the mail. but we dont get them in the paper in tulsa. you have to juggle a printed coupon is better than none…also ink is cheaper if you by a generic. office depot sells ink here for 9.99 black so just take a day ride to ardmore and go a little further in your adventures…god bless…

I am a stay at home mom in Georgia. I would love to learn how to use my coupons more efficiently and teach others as well. I love the fact that you help to build local food banks. This is a mission project that is in need of being expanded in our area. My church is continously working toward this and I believe that together you and I could help to make this a reality.
Sincerely,
Cathy
