When it comes to shaving I'm a twice a week kinda guy.  Not because I don't like to shave, it's just that I get razor burn really bad.  I've tried just about everything, different shaving creams, razors and electric razors.  So when I was asked to try the Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D, I was game to try anything.

They have thought of everything with this razor.  You can shave dry, wet or with shaving cream.  It comes with a charging base that also cleans your razor after every use!  The 1st time I used it I wasn't that impressed.  But after reading the instructions I learned that it can take up to 3 weeks to let your skin adjust using an electric razor.  I've have been using it now for 2 1/2 weeks and I can tell a HUGE difference!  The shave is just a close as when I use a razor and NO RAZOR BURN!  I now shave every other day with it and love it!  It's super simple to use and cleaning it is a breeze!

If your kids our like ours, they love craft projects.  They always doing craft projects.  So that means that they are always looking for new things to do.  So when Wal-Mart asked if we wanted to do these wild bird seed Halloween ornaments, we jumped at the chance.

Here is how to make these very simple Wild Bird Seed Halloween Ornaments:

You will need the following items:

• a large mixing bowl
• a measuring cup
• a couple of spoons
• 3/4 cup all purpose flour
• 3 TBLS light corn syrup
• 1/2 cup water
• cookie cutters
• wax paper
• 4 cups Pennington Wild Bird Food bird seed
• yarn or twine

Mix the ingredients in a large bowl until well blended.  Lay out a sheet of wax paper.  Put the cookie cutters on the wax paper.  Spoon the mixture into the cookie cutters.  Remove the cookie cutters and make a small hole in the middle of each "cookie" ornament for your twine or yarn. (a straw works well)  Let them dry 4 to 6 hours, or overnight.  Turn them over every couple hours so the can dry on both sides.  Cut the yarn or twine into 12"-24" lengths.  Thread through the hole in the ornaments.  Hang the ornaments in the trees and shrubs for the birds to enjoy!

As most of you guys know our house was in involved in a flood.  All of our flooring was ruined.  When we replaced it we decided to go back with hardwood floors in the living room.  WOW.  Those things are a challenge to keep clean.  All of the little nooks and crannies makes getting them clean a pain.  But we also have carpet in the kids room.  So finding something that can handle both these surfaces would be awesome.

As you guys know I went to the Better Homes and Gardens test kitchens to cook my awesome Chicken and Pan sauce in the cook-off.  If you follow me on Facebookor followed my Whrrl story you got to see some great pics and videos.  (if not go check them out!)

The real reason for the cook off was to let you guys know about the awesome cookware that Better Homes and Gardens has come out with.  I choose the Non-Stick Hard-Anodized cookware (which is available exclusively at Wal-Mart)  It browns food very evenly and the variety in sizes that are in the set should cover all your cooking needs.  They also come with see through lids which lets you check on your food without letting the heat escape.  This awesome cookware let me make a great dish which impressed the judges!

It's getting closer to the cook-off that Better Homes and Gardens is hosting.  I know I love my cooking but how will the judges respond to it?  I'm not the nervous type but I must admit I'm pretty nervous about cooking in a competition.  To make things easier Better Homes and Gardens gave me my a choice of cookware to try out.  I picked out their Non-Stick Hard-Anodized pots and pans.

I've had a chance to try most if not all them out and I love them!  They heat up evenly so when you go to brown something it looks like a professional did it!  The big stock pot is the perfect size for our family and the 4qt deep skillet is awesome for anything!  I use it the most because again, it is big enough to hold all the food for our family.
