*** UPDATE 5/20/08 12;47PM***:
Michelle has returned an email to the attorney saying there is nothing she can do. The attorney responded saying please call me so we can arrange a time for you to pick up the stuff for your consigners and get it to them.
ORIGINAL POST:
Consumers found out by clicking on this website http://www.2bconsignment.com/ that the store had closed and all of their belongings were locked inside. Consigners were shocked. They thought the store was doing great! They loved going in and shopping for bargains.Apparently the store was struggling financially and was forced out of their space due to not paying rent. Many consigners tried to contact the owner by phone with no call back. It looks from their website that they will not be responding to email as it states on their website that they are overloaded and to please contact them by snail mail.
I have not tried contacting her myself yet, I only got this information from the property managers attorney. They have contacted Michelle to let her know that she has 15 days to get all the contents removed and to its consigners or it will be auctioned or sold.
So far they have not gotten a response.
So what can we do? Continue to contact Michelle to get a response, check the website for updates and let the attorney no any information so that they can work with us on getting our stuff. Basically it is all up to Michelle right now.
If it gets closer to time and you see nothing happening we may have to rethink our course of action or lose our stuff. I will keep you updated! Please feel free to post your response here and let us know whats going on.
