Butterflies and Bumblebees letter!

The following is a letter we recieved from the property owners Lawyer and has been Super Nice about trying to get our stuff to us. By law they do not have to do any of this but they are being gracious enough to help. Please help us all out by remaining calm in this situation, getting upset and causing a scene will only make things worse!

Let’s help each other out in this matter! I’m excited that we are getting our stuff now we will have to see about our checks?

Melissa

North Oaks Midstar, LLC, owner of the premises previously leased by Butterflies and Bumblebees Children’s Consignment Store, LLC and Michelle Thompson, is allowing Ms. Thompson’s consignors limited access to the premises at 801 W. Danforth in Edmond, Oklahoma on June 13 and June 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each consignor will be required to show proof of ownership and complete a form itemizing and accounting for the items. We understand that many items are identified by consignor number. Accordingly, proof of ownership is expected to be established by comparing your consignor number to the number on each item. Please bring with you picture identification, any documentation of items, any consignor agreement, and any other documentation that proves ownership to the items.

North Oaks is not, under Oklahoma law, required to make the premises available to you for the return of any property. Based on Ms. Thompson’s failure to remove all merchandise and other personal property from the premises within fifteen (15) days of our notice, North Oaks is entitled to dispose of the property at a public sale and apply those proceeds to its judgment against Ms. Thompson, among other things. In that regard, North Oaks expects complete cooperation, patience and courtesy on June 13 and June 14; anything less will result in the premises being closed immediately, with any remaining merchandise and other personal property being sold at a public sale pursuant to Oklahoma law.

There may be items that are not identified by number, and there may be items that are not at the premises that Ms. Thompson disposed of prior to possession of the premises being returned to North Oaks. North Oaks is not responsible for any missing or unidentified items, and disclaims any and all responsibility or liability associated with the merchandise or other personal property. North Oaks is not contracting with you in any way, nor making any promises concerning the merchandise or other personal property. North Oaks is simply, as a courtesy, giving you this opportunity to obtain a return of certain property.

Any further questions should be addressed to the individuals assisting you in this process on June 13 and June 14.

Thank you.

Rodney
